Surveys, sessions, and external references

A Ramon survey is the provisioned integration record. Its surveyId scopes collection, session lookup, scoring runs, and deletions.

A session is the behavioral stream collected by the browser embed. It has a UUID session identifier. An external reference is the UUID your platform uses to map Ramon activity to its response or interview record.

For the simplest lifecycle, use one platform-generated UUID as both sessionId and interviewId, store it with the source response, and never use participant identity or answer content as the reference.
